Forge Creek Free Range is a small, family run farm based in East Gippsland, producing eggs from pasture raised, free range chickens. Their hens are free to fossick and roam happily during the day under the beautiful big old Red Gums. In a short space of time Deb and Peter have been able to achieve quite a lot. With the assistance of Riviera Trailers, they have built their own SKA Avio 750 bird mobile shed and have a second on the way. They have won awards for their eggs (Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards – 2015 Gold Medal) and their business (East Gippsland Business Awards) and their eggs are now sold across Gippsland and now in Melbourne also. They have still found time to host an excursion from a local primary school.
